Hello.
Welcome to my blog: Beneath the Book. As the title may suggest, this blog will consist of me giving reviews on books I read. I thought I would start by telling you a bit about who I am.
My name is Tara. I pronounce it tar-ah. Tar like tarmac. I live in America but I come from an Irish father and a Turkish mother who moved here when they were in their 20's, met, fell in love and had me and my sister. So that is why my name is pronounced like that, instead of the Americanized version, tear-ah.
Reading has always been something I have loved. I used to get in trouble when I was little because I would use a flashlight to read at night when I was supposed to be asleep. There is something special about reading a book that takes you to a new world and envelopes you in. I want to share that feeling with people everywhere which is why I am making this blog. I hope you enjoy.
